I’m obviously an insanely HUGE dog lover….ok well primarily a huge lover of my own puppy pants but canines are, in my mind, one of the greatest gifts a human could ever have. What I wouldn’t give to keep my sweet Harley around for the rest of my years but we all know that isn’t possible so the next best option is to immortalize him in a picture. Yes I take a million pictures of him and post them on facebook and instagram (diarysugarspice is my username just in case you want to stalk my pup!) but what I need and any dog lover needs is the REAL deal. A picture that speaks volumes about the character of your furry friend and captures them just like they are.
You can’t just get any photographer. You, yourself certainly can’t do it. Can’t be a photog who is known for their work with senior portraits and weddings. No…you need Sit.Stay.Snaps Photography. A photographer that isn’t afraid to get dirty and lay on the ground to get the perfect shot. A photographer that spends her time taking pictures of dogs and cats looking for forever homes and giving them the best shot at adoption. Take a peak at some of Jessie McClain’s incredible and stunning work. (All pictures courtesy of Sit.Stay.Snaps.com and sssnyc.wordpress.com
And of course some GREAT action shots as we all know just how active our pups are!
For those of you with more than one furball, she has a talent with keeping them both in the picture!
Sometimes the humans get to join in on the fun too!
Sit.Stay.Snaps (creatively named!) is based out of NYC but travel is also an option as she travels up and down the east coast often. Also, I know this photographer personally and I can’t say enough good things about her business integrity and professionalism. What an incredible gift to give yourself or a friend who has a furry pal at home. I know if I can ever get her out to Germany, I will certainly be stealing her away from her fun travels for a few hours to capture my Harley man. There are loads of options from gift cards, canvas prints, photobooks, and much more! Please go to her website, take a look at all the other beautiful images she has and give her a call or email! Years after our friends are long gone, you’ll be glad you decided to capture their heart and soul through film to remember how they enriched your life for the better!!

Until next time, Readers!!! xoxoxoxo

Spice, you know I love the hell out of you, you little CM you, but I take better photos of my dogs on my iPhone. And so do you. What’s with parts (most) of the dogs being cropped out of the photos? Every yellow lab I’ve seen has a top to it’s head. And the girl in the green top making out with her furry friend? I think that’s considered bestiality in the states.
